Haroli (Una), July 10- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Thursday paid emotional tribute to ASI Sohan Lal, a member of his security staff, by joining his last rites in Haroli. 53-year-old ASI Sohan Lal died suddenly on Wednesday due to cardiac arrest. He was serving in the police department for the last 32 years.
The Deputy Chief Minister expressed condolences on this occasion and said that ASI Sohan Lal was a dutiful, honest and simple-natured officer, who discharged his duties with simplicity and dedication. He said that his death is a personal loss not only for the police department but also for him.
The Deputy Chief Minister prayed to God for peace of the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this grief. Expressing his deep condolences to the family, he said that the state government stands with the family in this difficult time.
Late ASI Sohan Lal is survived by his wife and three children.
