Patiala- As per the guidelines of Health Minister Dr. Balvir Singh, Deputy Commissioner Patiala and Civil Surgeon Patiala, we should always make our children and family members aware of dengue, diarrhea, malaria, rabies spreading during the rainy season.
For which, efforts should be made to spread the information given by doctors, nurses and subject experts related to health safety, first aid, CPR, disaster management, civil defense at homes, families and community institutions. These ideas were expressed by Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Chief Trainer of First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission and Retired Training Supervisor of Indian Red Cross Society, at a special awareness program organized at Career Academy Senior Secondary School, Patiala, as per the instructions of the Chairman.
Kaka Ram Verma said that do not eat stale pre-cut food items from the market. Before eating fruits and vegetables, keep them in clean salt or sweet soda water for two hours. As first aid, they should give boiled clean water, shikanjavi, or ORS solution to the victims to replenish the salt, sugar, and water deficiency in their bodies, but do not give them juice, cold drinks, fast food, or junk food.
Instead of home treatment, take medicines from the nearest doctor. Wash your hands with soap five to six times a day. Do not let mosquitoes breed in houses, neighborhoods, roofs, flower pots, bathrooms, and grassy areas. They gave information about halakhah, CPR, recovery position, ventilator, and artificial respiration.
Principal Mrs. Prabhjot Kaur and the students thanked them and said that they will also give this information to their families, families, and colonies.
