Security arrangements tightened ahead of Amarnath Yatra.

Anantnag, June 30- Amarnath Yatra is scheduled to begin on July 3, for which security forces have inspected several areas to ensure the safety of pilgrims and a large number of security forces have been deployed in key areas including Ramban and Pahalgam. Security officials reviewed the arrangements in Anantnag, Banihal, Ramban and other key areas before the start of Amarnath Yatra.

Security officials reviewed the arrangements in Anantnag, Banihal, Ramban and other key areas before the start of Amarnath Yatra.
It is worth noting that the Amarnath Yatra will begin from Baltal and Pahalgam routes. Earlier in the day, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah spoke about the arrangements required for the pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra.
He said that Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha held two meetings before the pilgrimage. The first meeting was held with political parties and the second with representatives of civil society in which they were asked to ensure adequate facilities for the pilgrims.
He said that the yatra will be flagged off from Jammu on July 2. Before this, a large number of pilgrims had registered for this yatra by visiting special centers. Officials said that people are getting excited for the Amarnath Yatra.
