
Two-day CBSE in-house training program concluded
Haryana/Hisar: A two-day CBSE in-house training program was organized on 28 and 30 June 2025 under the aegis of CBSE at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Senior Secondary Public School, Dhanora-Ladwa. Inaugurating the training program, the Principal of the school, Narendra Sharma said that according to the new education policy, it is mandatory for all teachers to complete at least 25 hours of in-house training program organized by CBSE and 25 hours of training of CBP.

Resource persons Kavita Lalar and Monica Jindal informed the attendees about conservation of environment and natural resources and life skills. About 55 teachers benefited from this program. On the first day, the resource person emphasized on conservation of natural resources, which includes using them judiciously and avoiding indiscriminate cutting of trees, adopting car pooling, using public transport, using bicycles to cover short distances and afforestation etc.
The session was very informative and was well coordinated and organised with active participation of all the participants. On the second day, teachers were made aware of the importance of life skills including self awareness, empathy, critical thinking, creative thinking, decision making, problem solving, interpersonal skills, effective communication, coping with stress, managing emotions etc. Activity sessions including storytelling, detailed group discussions on all life skills in a cordial atmosphere were conducted.
Principal Narendra Sharma in his concluding speech hoped that the teachers will practice all the skills efficiently in their classrooms and in life too. Teachers will educate students against environmental degradation and motivate them to conserve nature and plant at least one tree.
