Una, June 23- A special Gram Sabha and saturation camp will be organized on June 26 in Beeton Gram Panchayat of Haroli subdivision of Una district under 'Dharti Aaba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan'.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that this campaign is being run across the country from June 15 to 30 as per the instructions of the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Its main objective is to provide 100 percent information and benefits of the schemes of the Central and State Government to the Scheduled Tribal areas and especially the socio-economically weaker communities.
Under this, services like Aadhar enrollment and e-KYC, Ayushman Bharat, PM Kisan, Jan Dhan Yojana, Social Security Certificate, Ration Card will be provided in the camp to be organized in Beaton Panchayat. Along with this, activities like health checkup, tree plantation etc. and yoga sessions and cultural presentations will also be organized.
The Deputy Commissioner said that instructions have been given to all the departments regarding the successful conduct of the campaign. They have been asked to compulsorily send their representatives to the camp and provide services to the beneficiaries through coordinated efforts. Along with this, CSC and self-help groups are also being connected with digital services and public awareness activities.
He informed that all the departments will have to submit the reports, coverage and photographs related to their activities to DRDA Una by July 1. Apart from this, emphasis has also been laid on the effective use of social media to disseminate comprehensive information about the campaign to the public.
