Attack on Dengue: Boothgarh health teams inspected nurseries and construction sites.

Boothgarh, June 20: Under the campaign 'Every Friday, Attack on Dengue', the health team led by Dr. Alkajot Kaur, Senior Medical Officer of Primary Health Center Boothgarh, inspected containers in nurseries, vacant plots and construction sites to look for larvae of mosquitoes responsible for dengue fever and inspected other possible places of mosquito breeding.

Boothgarh, June 20: Under the campaign 'Every Friday, Attack on Dengue', the health team led by Dr. Alkajot Kaur, Senior Medical Officer of Primary Health Center Boothgarh, inspected containers in nurseries, vacant plots and construction sites to look for larvae of mosquitoes responsible for dengue fever and inspected other possible places of mosquito breeding.
Giving information in this regard, Dr. Alkajot Kaur said that this investigation was done on the instructions of Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh and people were told not to let water accumulate anywhere to avoid dengue fever. She said that a dengue awareness rally was also taken out with the students of Nursing College in Jujhar Nagar. During this, PHC health teams inspected various places under the department.
According to Dr. Alkajot Kaur, people were told that dengue is a deadly fever, to avoid it, water should not be allowed to accumulate at any place. He said that if due to any reason one gets dengue fever then there is no need to panic. The patient should be brought to a government health institution where the test and treatment of dengue is absolutely free.
The patient should consume as much liquids as possible like water, juice, lemonade, coconut water etc. and should take rest. On this occasion, Dr. Arun Bansal, Dr. Jyoti, Health Supervisor Swarn Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Jasvir Singh and other officers were present.
