Chandigarh, June 17 - Haryana Environment, Forest and Wildlife Minister Rao Narbir Singh informed that the Haryana government has prepared an important jungle safari project and the Aravalli Green Wall Project in the Aravalli region. The aim of this project is not only to increase eco-tourism but also to promote biodiversity, wildlife conservation and provide employment opportunities to the local people.

Aravalli Green Wall - An environmental effort spread across four states-
He said that Aravalli is the oldest mountain range in India, which is spread across four states including Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Delhi and covers an area of ??1.15 million hectares. The Central Government has entrusted Haryana with the responsibility of the Aravali Green Wall Project and the Wild Safari, which will prove to be a milestone from an environmental perspective.

Youth interest in wildlife conservation is increasing-
Shri Rao Narbir Singh said that in the era of climate change and pollution, environmental conservation has become a global concern. He said that only by being sensitive to nature and wildlife can we maintain ecological balance. Today, many youth startups and private organizations are also participating in wildlife conservation, which is strengthening the government efforts.

Inspiration is being drawn from projects like Nagpur and Jamnagar-
The Minister said that this project was earlier under the Tourism Department, but now as per the directions of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, its responsibility has been given to the Forest Department. He himself has visited Gorewara Safari in Nagpur and Vantara Project in Gujarat. The Haryana government aims to have this mega project inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Employment opportunities will be provided with environmental benefits-
The Aravalli Green Wall Project will provide afforestation of indigenous species, improve soil health, recharge groundwater and preserve biodiversity. This will not only strengthen the environment of Haryana, but will also create green employment opportunities for the local youth as forest friends.
Rao Narbir Singh appealed that everyone should take a pledge towards the protection and conservation of wildlife as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also mentioned this in the Mann Ki Baat program.
