Hisar:- As per the directions of Superintendent of Police Hansi Amit Yashvardhan, to curb crime in the entire district, ANC Staff Hansi Police has arrested Shamsher alias Rameshwar son Dharambir resident of Garhi with 180 boxes of illegal liquor.
According to the information received from the Police Spokesperson's Office, ANC Staff Hansi Police had received secret information during patrolling that a person in a vehicle will be carrying illegal liquor from Hansi to Rampura village in a short while. If a blockade is done immediately, he can be caught.
The ANC Staff took action and blocked the Gokul Dham Road near the village and as per the information received, stopped the pickup vehicle and checked it, 130 boxes of country liquor, 15 boxes of foreign liquor and 15 boxes of beer were recovered from inside the vehicle. When the person was asked about the liquor, he could not produce any bill or permit.
The person was taken into custody and a case was registered against him under the Liquor Act at Sadar Police Station, Hansi. The police have seized the vehicle and the illegal liquor. The accused was produced in court and sent to jail as per the court's order.
