Eminent writers, scholars, thinkers, theatre and film actors were present at the event. Renowned playwright and thinker Dr. Satish Kumar Verma participated as the chief guest, while renowned poet Jaswant Janjar (Director, Language Department) presided. Special guests included critic and thinker Professor Rajinderpal Singh Brar, Dr. Yograj Angrish (Vice President, Punjab Arts Council), Dr. Charanjit Kaur Brar and Sukhraj (former IPS).
Keynote speaker Prof. Harvinder Singh said that the book is closer to complaints than satire. He mentioned that the book discusses political issues but refrains from increasing religious issues. Dr. Davinder Singh Boha said that Sanjeevan has woven mental issues and not physical issues, which do not scream but definitely awaken.
Chief guest Dr. Satish Kumar Verma questioned the satirical style of the book but said that the works are good. In his presidential address Jaswant Janjar said that the entire function was very fruitful. Commenting on Harvinder's paper, he said that the paper was good and encouraged the youth to think openly.
Swarnjit Savi said about the book that Sanjeevan has his own way of saying things and this book is a literary delight. He also pointed out some proof reading mistakes.
Sukhraj Singh, Dr. Charanjit Kaur Brar, Dr. Yograj, Dr. Rajinderpal Singh Brar and Dr. Labh Singh Khiva also expressed their views on the book. Questioning critics and their duties, he said that this is more of a reaction than a satire.
Writer and journalist Pritam Rupal thanked all the guests. The function was hosted by poet and essayist Jagdeep Sidhu.
