New Delhi, May 31- The first death has been recorded in Delhi during the latest surge in Corona. According to information, a 60-year-old woman died during complications after surgery. The patient was suddenly diagnosed with Corona while being admitted to the hospital. The increase in Corona patients and deaths in Delhi is a worrying sign.
The woman who died in Delhi was admitted to a city hospital due to severe abdominal pain and vomiting and was later found to have intestinal problems. However, after emergency surgery, she was tested positive for Corona during routine post-operative care. 56 new cases have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours, taking the number of active cases to 294. Health officials in the capital have reiterated that most of the cases are new.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also assured the citizens, saying, "Hospitals have all the facilities, we have analyzed the situation and the situation is under control."
