New Delhi, May 26- According to the official data released by the Health Department, a total of 104 active Covid-19 cases have been reported in Delhi. However, health officials said that 24 patients have also recovered in the last week. According to the Covid-19 dashboard of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of active cases in the last week was 99.
A senior health official of the Delhi government confirmed the data and said that the situation is under control and the authorities are closely monitoring any possible increase.
Officials said that no Covid-related deaths have been reported in Delhi in recent weeks.
The Delhi government had issued an advisory last Friday directing hospitals to ensure preparedness. The orders issued by the government include beds, oxygen, essential medicines and functional equipment like ventilators and BiPAP machines.
