Work to teach Kannada language to Chandigarh children begins.

Chandigarh, May 26- Under the Indian Language Summer Camp, children of government schools in Sector 37, Chandigarh have started learning Kannada language. Sridevi Dharnevar, who has done B.Ed in Kannada language, is teaching Kannada language to these children. For this, full support is being given by school principal Renu Bala and other teachers.

Sridevi Dharnevar said that teaching Kannada language to children is a matter of pride and a sacred task to unite the nation. More than ten children are learning Kannada, and this number may increase further.
Initially Kannada alphabet is being taught, and in the coming days more than 50 Kannada sentences will be taught to the children so that they can speak in Kannada. He said that apart from this, children will also be given information about the literature, civilization and culture of Karnataka.
