Hoshiarpur- MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today visited the flood-affected areas of Bassi Ali Khan and Bassi Jamal Khan in Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, he took information about the situation from the administrative officials present on the spot and directly interacted with the affected families and listened to their problems.
The MLA said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to providing relief and assistance to every affected family. He assured that no affected person will be left alone and their losses will be compensated on priority basis.
Meanwhile, MLA Jimpa directed the officials to immediately provide necessary relief materials to the affected families. He assured the farmers and laborers that the survey of the damage to their crops and property will be done with complete transparency and the compensation will be distributed soon.
The MLA appealed to the villagers to be patient and cooperate with the administrative team. He said that the Mann government will provide all possible help and will not let any needy person get disappointed. The MLA was also accompanied by local administrative officials, panchayats of the concerned villages and the Muhtabar.
