Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, May 22, 2025: Aam Aadmi Party founder member Advocate Govinder Kumar Mittal formally assumed office as Chairman of Market Committee, Mohali today in the presence of Punjab Finance Minister Shri Harpal Singh Cheema.
Shri Harpal Singh Cheema congratulated Chairman Mittal on this occasion by making him smile. Before assuming office on this occasion, the Bhog of the Path of Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji was performed, which was attended by a large number of Sangat.
Meanwhile, MLA from Mohali S. Kulwant Singh, MLA from Malerkotla Mohammad Jamil Ur Rehman, Chairman of Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board and Co-incharge of Aam Aadmi Party Chandigarh Dr. S.S. Ahluwalia, Chairman of Punjab Mandi Board S. Harchand Singh Burst, Chairman of Punjab Medium Industry Development Board, Mr. Neel Garg, Chairman of Punjab Youth Development Board S. Chairman Mittal thanked all the guests who came and said that he is deeply grateful to National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister of Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, who gave him the responsibility of Chairman of Market Committee Mohali. He assured that he will fulfill this responsibility with full dedication.
He further said that he will work hard to bring the benefits of the pro-people policies of the Mann government to every household. The Mann government is working day and night towards making Punjab a colorful Punjab again, the meaningful results of which have also started coming out. He said that he is available 24 hours a day in the service of the people, if any person has any problem, he can contact him at any time.
