MLA Randhawa inaugurated development works worth Rs 57 lakh 84 thousand in four government schools of Lalru area of ????Derabassi

Lalru (SAS Nagar), May 21, 2025: Derabassi MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today visited four schools of Lalru area under Punjab Badal Raha Hai with Education Revolution. While looking at the state-of-the-art educational facilities provided by the Punjab Government in government schools today, he said that the changes made by the Punjab Government in the field of education have reiterated the commitment of the Punjab Government.

Lalru (SAS Nagar), May 21, 2025: Derabassi MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today visited four schools of Lalru area under Punjab Badal Raha Hai with Education Revolution. While looking at the state-of-the-art educational facilities provided by the Punjab Government in government schools today, he said that the changes made by the Punjab Government in the field of education have reiterated the commitment of the Punjab Government.
On this occasion, he said that every effort is being made to take the education sector to new heights under the leadership of Punjab Government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Special attention is being given to the renovation of school buildings, cleaning of classrooms, painting, water supply, toilet blocks, boundary walls and other basic facilities in schools.
Teachers are being given international training in Finland and Singapore. Due to the trust of parents of students in government schools, many parents have taken their children out of private schools and enrolled them in government schools. He said that under the commitment to make schools beautiful and conducive for studies, new development works are being done every day by the Bhagwant Mann government. These works will not only create a pleasant environment for studies for the children, but will also increase the credibility of government schools among the parents.
The total cost of the projects inaugurated in Lalru area of ????Derabassi is Rs 57 lakh 84 thousand and these include a classroom, boundary wall and playground in Government Primary School Rampur Bhal at a cost of Rs 22 lakh 39 thousand, a smart classroom in Government Primary School Khedi Jattan at a cost of Rs 07 lakh 51 thousand, boundary wall and other works in Government Middle School Sioli at a cost of Rs 08 lakh 27 thousand were dedicated to the students.
Apart from this, a hall and science lab built at a cost of Rs 19 lakh 67 thousand in Government High School of village Bhukhri was inaugurated. On this occasion, MLA Randhawa said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann does what it says. He said that for the progress and prosperity of any country, it is important for the citizens of that country to be healthy and educated.
