Addressing the students, she said that avoiding hard work means losing success. Therefore, the hard work done now will bring good results in the coming days. During this, she informed the students about career options and inspired them to dream big.
During this, she said that groups of different subjects will be formed according to the interest of the students and in the coming time, the school will be given study material accordingly and sessions of experts will be organized, so that the students do not face any kind of difficulty in achieving their goals.
She said that now education limited only to books is not enough, students also need real life understanding, exposure visits and modern technology. He also interacted with the teachers and encouraged them to adopt the latest teaching techniques. Along with this, he also emphasized on encouraging the participation of parents in school activities.
The Deputy Commissioner said that children of government schools can also dream big and can also fulfill them. 'School Mentorship Program' is a new idea, which has the potential to take the government education system to new heights. During this, he also gave tips to the students to take interest in studies and study for a long time.
Talking to journalists on this occasion, he said that inspired by the thinking of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the objective of this program is to motivate the students of government schools to set high goals in life and provide them strong guidance. This is the first time that the government has given priority to innovation and practical understanding in education by assigning the role of guidance in the lives of students to IAS, IPS and other senior officers.
He said that under this program, they will play the role of mentors in career guidance of students, improvement in school infrastructure and resources and innovation based education. District Education Officer Lalita Arora, School Principal Seema Buddhiraja, Red Cross Society Secretary Mangesh Sood were also present on the occasion.
