Reliving old memories, he said that if the teachers of Government Primary School Paragpur had not given him hard work in 1973, then today a former student of this school would not have come to this school as an MLA. Dedicating the modern rooms, boundary wall and other works constructed at a cost of Rs 20.91 lakh in his childhood government primary school in village Paragpur to the students, he gave his own example and said that education is the biggest jewel of any person's life.
So study, achieve future goals, you too can go very far. As per the commitment of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, he dedicated infrastructure projects worth Rs 77.36 lakh to the students in five schools of the constituency today as part of his commitment to provide quality facilities and education in the schools of the state. Education coordinator Gurpreet Singh Virk said that today MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa inaugurated the works done at a cost of Rs 1.50 lakh.
The foundation stone of the building was laid at a cost of Rs 1 lakh 34 thousand in the Government High School of village Rajomajra and the science lab being built at a cost of Rs 11 lakh will also be handed over to the children soon, the roof and other works of 4 rooms at a cost of Rs 7 lakh 36 thousand 100 in the Government Primary School of village Sekhpura, two smart classrooms and other works at a cost of Rs 19 lakh in the Government Primary School of village Bhakharpur, development works done at a cost of Rs 28.70 lakh in the Government Primary School of village Trivedi Camp were inaugurated and dedicated to the students. The MLA congratulated Jashandeep Kaur, a student of Rajomajra village school for securing first position in Mohali district in class 10th. The MLA also interacted with the students on this occasion and asked about their future aspirations, needs in school etc.
He said that although the students are young, it is our first duty to listen to their heart and act on it. He said that today's students are fortunate, who are being provided with the best infrastructure and facilities in their schools. He said that the aim of Punjab Education Revolution is to upgrade the infrastructure in about 12000 schools of Punjab at a cost of Rs 2000 crore, due to which the face of these schools is changing.
He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has come to work for the people by rising above politics, which is why today the face of schools across Punjab is changing. On this occasion, apart from the heads and teachers of these schools, Panch-Sarpanch of these villages, students and their parents were also present.
