AIMS Mohali Hosts Successful Intercollege Hematology Quiz 2025

SAS Nagar, May 17: The Department of Pathology at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Mohali, successfully organized the third edition of the Intercollege Undergraduate Hematology Quiz, 'Sangre 2025,' for MBBS, Phase 2 students under the leadership of Director Principal Dr. Bhavneet Bharti. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from students representing 10 medical colleges across Punjab, marking a day of intellectual engagement and academic excellence.

Distinguished quizmasters Dr. Naveen Kakkar, Professor and Head of Pathology at MMMCH Solan, and Dr. Pulkit Rastogi, Associate Professor of Hematology at PGIMER Chandigarh, presided over the quiz, bringing their expertise and dynamism to the competition.
After a series of challenging and intellectually stimulating rounds, the team from Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh, clinched the first prize, demonstrating exceptional knowledge and quick thinking. Gian Sagar Medical College, Banur, secured the second position, while the host institute, AIMS Mohali, earned the third prize.
The event served as a platform for fostering academic excellence, promoting healthy competition, and expanding the knowledge base of aspiring medical professionals. The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participating colleges and congratulated the winners for their outstanding performance.
