
Forest Department workers hold meeting, demand immediate release of long-standing and pending salaries
Patiala: 14 May 2025- Today, the legitimate demands of the workers working under the Punjab Forest Department were seriously considered. The district president of the organization, Mr. Virpal Singh and state president Balbir Singh Mandoli said that the salaries of many workers have been withheld from the hardworking workers since January 25. All the workers have not been paid salaries since April.

The district president of the organization, Mr. Virpal Singh and state president Balbir Singh Mandoli said that the salaries of many workers have been withheld from the hardworking workers since January 25. All the workers have not been paid salaries since April.
Many workers have exceeded their life span in the department and are not being paid salaries illegally because they are over 60 years of age. Departmental workers are still working today. The department management is playing with their future. Whatever is not acceptable, the organization will not tolerate.
The government should take a serious decision on this. The organization demands that the salaries of all the workers of January/February/March/April 2025 should be released immediately to all the workers without delay. If the salaries are not released before May 20, then a protest rally will be held in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Patiala.
The responsibility of which will be the responsibility of the Punjab government. Major Singh Baher, Kulwant Singh Thuhi, Ram Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Manga Ram, Harpreet Singh, Amrik Singh, Beant Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Mantez Singh, Sarabjit Kaur, Lal Wanti, Ram Kishan etc. were present in today's meeting.
