SAS Nagar, May 12- The Residents Welfare Society (Regd.) of Sector 69, with the cooperation of residents, installed a fountain in Park No. 5 to enhance its beauty. The fountain was inaugurated by Area Councillor Bibi Kuldeep Kaur Dhanoa and other dignitaries present.
Addressing the occasion, Councillor Kuldeep Kaur Dhanoa praised the efforts of the society’s President Rajbir Singh, Secretary Roshan Lal Chopra, office-bearer Karam Singh Mavi, and the entire team, stating that the modern fountain will use minimal water. She added that the water used will be utilized for the plants in the park instead of being wasted.
On this occasion, former Councillor Satvir Singh Dhanoa said that significant improvements to our surroundings can be made by working together and supporting each other, and instead of relying on the government for everything, we should take initiatives ourselves.
Society President Rajbir Singh thanked all his colleagues, stating that no task is possible without public cooperation. He informed that efforts will also be made in the future to address issues like parking in the area.
