
Pensioners Welfare Federation meeting in Patiala, demand for lump sum payment on arrears issue and condemnation of murder of Navdeep Singh.
Patiala- Pensioners Welfare Federation Punjab (Pehlwan) Patiala Circle monthly meeting was held today on 12-05-2025 at the head office of the organization P-3, 66 KV Grid Colony, Patiala under the chairmanship of Shri Shivdev Singh Circle President Patiala. In which the decision of Punjab Government to pay arrears in installments from 1-1-2016 to 30-06-2021 was strongly condemned and it was demanded that all the arrears of employees and pensioners be paid in lump sum.

The situation in the country and especially Punjab was discussed in the meeting, which is like a war with Pakistan and the main reason for which is the killing of 26 innocent people by Pakistani terrorists in Pahalgam.
All the comrades present in the meeting observed two minutes silence to pay tribute to Navdeep Singh Dhaliwal who was killed in Canada recently and a strong demand was made to the Punjab Government, Government of India and Government of Canada that the killers of Navdeep Singh Dhaliwal should be caught and given the harshest punishment and arrangements should be made to send the body of Navdeep Singh to village Mandali, district Mansa, Punjab. Giving information about the meeting, State General Secretary B.S. Sekhon said that some offices have not yet paid the outstanding amount.
This was strongly condemned and the administration was demanded to pay all the employees and pensioners as per the circular of the Punjab Government regarding the outstanding amount. State General Secretary B.S. Sekhon, Balwinder Singh Pasiyana, Shivdev Singh Mandal President, Rajinder Thakur, Bhupinder Thakur, Satpal Mehta, Kulwant Singh Nabha, Gurbhajan Singh, Jagdish Singh, Surjit Singh, Baljinder Singh, Rajinder Singh Pappi, Paramjit Singh, Sarabjit Singh Lang, Prithi Pal Singh and Kesar Singh etc. were present in the meeting.
