S.A.S. Nagar, May 9- Mohali Police arrested two vehicle thieves and recovered 7 motorcycles and 1 Activa from their possession. DSP City 2 S. Harsimran Singh Bal stated that the arrests were made as part of a campaign to curb criminal elements under the directions of SSP Mr. Deepak Pareek.
He informed that a complaint was filed by Rohit Jakhad, a resident of Purv Premium Apartment, Sector 88, stating that his Bullet motorcycle had been stolen. Acting on this, Inspector Simran Singh, the chief officer of Sohana Police Station, and the police team investigated and arrested Jaspreet Singh alias Jassi, resident of Sri Muktsar Sahib (currently residing near a gurdwara in village Lakhnour), and Vicky Kumar alias Vicky, resident of Tada Udmur, Hoshiarpur (currently residing at Randhawa Road, Kharar).
It was further stated that 7 motorcycles and 1 Activa were recovered from these individuals. A thorough interrogation of the accused is underway.
