
Blood donation camp organized in Regional Hospital on World Red Cross Day.
Una, May 8- On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, District Red Cross Society organized a blood donation camp in Regional Hospital Una on Thursday, May 8. This camp organized in Regional Hospital Una was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner and President of District Red Cross Society Una, Jatin Lal. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner himself donated blood and inspired the youth for this noble work. During this, Deputy Commissioner's wife and President of District Red Cross Society Hospital Welfare Section, Prof. Dr. Renu Sherawat was also present.

DC said that blood donation is a great donation. This is the biggest virtue of life through which we can save many precious lives. It is necessary that people, especially the youth, come forward enthusiastically for blood donation. While wishing World Red Cross Day, he appealed to the people to voluntarily donate blood for the welfare of humanity and to help the needy people.
At the same time, District Red Cross Society Secretary Sanjay Sankhyan said that a total of 40 units of blood were collected in this camp. He gave information about the activities and works run by the Red Cross Society for the service and welfare of the poor and needy people.
After donating blood, Deputy Commissioner Una along with his family reached Aashray Vishesh Vidyalaya in Dehlan where he distributed school uniforms, water bottles and other useful materials to the special children of the school. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that helping special children is our moral responsibility and such efforts strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation in the society. He also motivated the children to donate blood.
On this occasion, Chief Medical Officer Una Dr. Sanjeev Verma, Medical Superintendent Dr. Sanjay Mankotia, District Red Cross Society Secretary Sanjay Sankhyan, State Patron of Red Cross Surendra Thakur, Advocate Suresh Airy, Tehsil Welfare Officer Jatindra Kumar, Dr. Sucharita Latth, Neelam, Chanchal and other youth participated enthusiastically in the blood donation camp.
