Hoshiarpur- In the state level kickboxing competition organized by Punjab Kickboxing Association from 26 to 28 April 2025 in Bathinda, the players of Hoshiarpur performed brilliantly and brought laurels to the district. 36 players from Hoshiarpur participated in this competition.
The players succeeded in winning 18 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze medals with their hard work and dedication. On the basis of these remarkable performances, Hoshiarpur made its distinct identity at the state level by securing first place in the overall trophy.
When the players returned to the district after returning from the competition, District Sports Officer Gurpreet Singh Bajwa welcomed them warmly. He also appreciated the dedication, commitment of the children and the role of their parents. S. Bajwa also openly encouraged the team coach Jogi and said that only such coaches have the ability to take the children to the national and international level.
He expressed hope for better performance in the future and motivated the players to move forward with high morale and discipline.
