
Under Seva Pakhwada, construction and repair works of new roads will be inaugurated across the state on September 20-Ranbir Gangwa.
Chandigarh, September 9 - Haryana Public Works Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa said that Seva Pakhwada is being organized from September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, to October 2, 2025. In this direction, the state government's Public Works Department, Urban Local Bodies Department, Development and Panchayat Department, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, Haryana Urban Development Authority and HSIIDC will inaugurate the construction work of 75 new roads and major repair work of old roads of their respective departments across the state on September 20.

Mr. Ranbir Gangwa was chairing a meeting with officials of various departments here late in the evening regarding Seva Pakhwada. He said that the Chief Minister will attend the program to be organized on September 20 as the chief guest at one place. Apart from this, ministers, MPs and MLAs will participate in this program at other places.
Special cleaning campaign to be run by the Public Works Department during Sewa Pakhwada
Shri Ranbir Gangwa also directed the officials that during Sewa Pakhwada, a special campaign should be launched to repair the roads damaged due to rains and fix them. Also, a special cleaning campaign and plantation should be done in all the rest houses and all the government hospitals should be beautified. Apart from this, the berms and central verges of the roads should be fixed.
He directed the officials that regarding the program to be held on September 20 in the eastern state, the concerned departments should mark the location of their respective programs and ensure that their list is sent to the office.
Shri Gangwa said that the progress of any state can be known only by the condition of the roads. In today's world, roads and transport have become an important part of every person's life. Every person uses the road in some way or the other. Therefore, the roads have to be made strong.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of the Public Works Department, Mr. Anurag Agarwal and senior officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
