SAS Nagar, May 1 - Shiromani Akali Dal Halka Mohali Chief Sewadar Parvinder Singh Sohana has said that the BJP government at the Centre and the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab have jointly planned to turn Punjab into a desert and with their connivance, Punjab's water is being robbed.
In a statement issued here, he said that Punjab does not have any surplus water that can be given to any other state. If Punjab's water is given to others, our land will become barren, and the farmers here will end. He said that the BJP's ambition is only to control Punjab.
On the other hand, the Punjab government has also joined the conspiracy to make Punjab waterless by making internal collusion with the BJP. He said that this is a direct attack on Punjab's agriculture and lifeline.
