Mohali Police arrests accused with 25 grams of heroin.

SAS Nagar, May 1 - Mohali Police has arrested a person with 25 grams of heroin during a blockade under the campaign against drugs. The arrested accused has been identified as Jaswant Singh, a resident of village Kukkewala, Jalalabad. In this regard, DSP City 2 Harsimran Singh Bajal said that under the leadership of Sohana Police Station Chief Simran Singh, the police had made a blockade against bad elements in their area.

During this, the police saw a person on a motorcycle coming from the front, so the police stopped him on suspicion, but he got scared on seeing the police and started running back, then the police caught him.
He said that the police searched the said person (who identified himself as Jaswant Singh) and recovered 25 grams of heroin from him.
The police registered a case against Jaswant Singh under the NDPS Act and produced him in the court, which sent him on one-day police remand. DSP Bajal said that the accused used to bring heroin from Ferozepur and sell it and he had come to Mohali a few days ago and worked as a delivery boy.
