Aam Aadmi Ghar Bachao Morcha to hold meeting on 3rd regarding problems faced by people of villages in the district

SAS Nagar, May 1- Aam Aadmi Ghar Bachao Morcha is holding a meeting on 3rd May at Gurdwara Amb Sahib, Mohali regarding the problems faced by people of villages in SAS Nagar district, in which a committee will be formed with the consent of all after considering the problems faced by people of villages in Mohali district.

SAS Nagar, May 1- Aam Aadmi Ghar Bachao Morcha is holding a meeting on 3rd May at Gurdwara Amb Sahib, Mohali regarding the problems faced by people of villages in SAS Nagar district, in which a committee will be formed with the consent of all after considering the problems faced by people of villages in Mohali district.
Giving information in this regard, the convener of the morcha, Harminder Singh Mavi and legal advisor, Advocate Darshan Singh Dhaliwal, said in a statement issued by ISCA that the morcha has sent invitation letters to district presidents of all political parties, other office bearers, representatives of social, religious, farmers, labor, employees' organizations, social workers and village panches, sarpanches, numberdars and other dignitaries of the district for the meeting.
He said that the people are facing a lot of trouble due to the closure of the registrations of houses and plots of people who are inside the red lines and phirnias of the villages. He said that due to the increase in the population of the villages, the red line limit of the villages should be immediately extended to 500 meters from the phirnias. Permission should be given to build up to a height of 55 meters in the villages that have come into Mohali city and in this regard, the government should prepare a separate policy for these villages and immediately solve the problems of the people. He said that in this meeting, the issues faced by the residents of the villages, including the opening of registries without any NOC of plots and houses located in illegal colonies declared by the government, will be discussed. He said that the entire tehsil of Mohali district consists of Banur and Thana Banur, whose DSP is at Rajpura and SSP is at Patiala. The BDPO of these villages sits at Rajpura and DDPO is at Patiala, due to which the people have to face huge problems. They demanded that this problem be resolved immediately by linking all these departments to Mohali district.
