Class Four Government Employees Union Punjab (1680) Fourth class employees hoisted the flag in memory of the martyrs of Chicago.

Patiala 01 May- Fourth class employees and pensioners of government and semi-government institutions held a simple but impressive gathering at the union's district office New Power House Colony in memory of the great martyrs of Chicago of 1886, paid tribute to them, and saluted them by hoisting the red flag on this occasion. On this occasion, the leaders gathered alleged that the central government and the Punjab government are colluding to end the trade union movement, recently the central government has twisted the labor laws and converted them into five labor codes.

In Punjab, the minimum wage is not going to be paid to the workers according to the inflation figures, which today is Rs. 35000/- minimum. Contract, work charge, daily wage and outsourced employees who have been working in government and semi-government departments for a long time are not being regularized. On this occasion, it was announced that the local government is neglecting the sanitation workers and sewermen in the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, and Municipal Council. A massive protest will be held at Van Bhawan Mohali on May 14 regarding this issue.
