Haroli, April 29- Haroli festival, which was organised with state level recognition for the first time this year, has set new records of success. This festival, organised with state level format due to the initiative and foresight of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, appeared ready to qualify for international status with global flavour in its very first visit.
Cultural representatives from more than 10 countries participated in the festival-
This time women cultural representatives from more than 10 countries including Japan, Britain, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Mexico, China, Indonesia and Russia participated in the festival. They charmed the audience with their traditional arts, music and dance. Modern presentations like fire dance, Ukrainian drum band, light man and robot man also brought an aura of innovation to this traditional stage.
It is worth mentioning that in the year 2017, when Shri Agnihotri had announced to give this festival the status of state level fair, it was only a dream. This effort came to a halt for some time due to change of government, but after a long gap of seven years, his unwavering commitment and dedication towards public concerns revived this event with great grandeur.
On one hand, this festival became a medium of social consciousness, public awareness and cultural pride, while on the other hand it emerged as a platform for global dialogue where tradition and modernity, locality and globality, all were seen shining together. With the efforts of the Deputy Chief Minister, Haroli has moved ahead in the direction of becoming a global center of cultural dialogue.
