School of Eminence, Sri Kiratpur Sahib Rupnagar visited Regional Research Center and College of Agriculture Ballowal Saunkhri.

Nawanshahr- Students of School of Eminence, Sri Kiratpur Sahib Rupnagar visited Regional Research Center Ballowal Saunkhri and College of Agriculture Ballowal Saunkhri, where they were led by Dr. Navneet Kaur. Dr. Vijay Kumar gave detailed information about the research, extension and education activities being carried out at Regional Research Center and College of Agriculture under the leadership of Dr. Manmohanjit Singh Dean and Dr. Mandeep Pathania gave basic information related to agriculture to the students and motivated them to join this profession.

On this occasion, Madam Kulwinder Kaur informed the students about the laboratories established in College of Agriculture Ballowal Saunkhri and took them on a tour of the college. After this, Dr. Pooja Goyal showed the students the model of polyhouse and rain water harvesting and told about drip irrigation done through it. Dr. Varun Atri gave them information about various wild trees and showed them an exhibition of medicinal plants.
Dr. Amin Bhatt showed them the soil science laboratory and gave information about the various equipment used there. Dr. Navneet Kaur showed them the weather laboratory and gave them information about agro-meteorological advisory services and took them on a tour. During this time, school teachers including lecturer Shikha Arora, Jaswinder Singh, Tajinder Singh, Anju Bala, Ramandeep Kaur and Nisha Sharma were present.
