Kapurthala 27th April- Three-day State Wushu Championship (Boys, Girls, Junior, Senior) is being organized by District Wushu Association Kapurthala on 30, 31 May and 1 June 2025 at Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha Kapurthala by President of Wushu Association of Kapurthala Rajiv Walia, General Secretary Gurcharan Singh and his team.
Wushu Association of Punjab General Secretary Gurpreet Singh, Joint Secretary Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Punjab Police Coach Santokh Singh Dubey arrived to visit this championship and General Secretary Gurpreet Singh said that good arrangements will be made for accommodation and food for the players in this championship being organized in Kapurthala in the coming days. He said that the entire team of Kapurthala Wushu Association will fulfill its responsibility with full dedication.
District Wushu Association President Rajiv Walia said that Wushu players from different districts participated in this state level championship. He appealed to the headmasters of all schools and colleges to extend their full support in this championship. He said that Wushu is a recognized sport and players also get government job opportunities in it.
On this occasion, Wushu Coach Vishal Kumar, Wushu Coach Avneet Kaur Dhaliwal, Wushu Coach Rabia, Wushu Coach Mannat, Wushu Coach Gurveer Kaur, Wushu Coach Sukhdeep Singh, Wushu Coach Awadhesh Kumar, Wushu Coach Prathampreet etc. were present.
