Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot and MLA Jimpa inaugurated the construction work of streets in Ward No. 21

Hoshiarpur- Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh and local MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the construction work of streets in Ward No. 21 of Hoshiarpur. Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said that the Punjab government is setting new examples of development under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He said that the unfinished works in both urban and rural areas are being completed with priority. Dr. Ravjot said that providing basic facilities to the people is the biggest priority of the government and this construction work is an important step in this direction.

He instructed the officials that there should be no negligence in the construction work and special care should be taken of quality. MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the residents of the area had been demanding for a long time that the dilapidated streets here should be reconstructed. The streets will be constructed with high quality on the basis of priority. He said that the Punjab Government is fully committed to the development of cities and development works are being carried out in every ward as per the requirement. 
He said that the Municipal Corporation is working in a planned manner to improve the basic facilities in every ward of the city. On this occasion, Mayor Surinder Kumar Shinda, Senior Deputy Mayor Parveen Saini, Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary, Councilor Sulekha Devi, Rajveer Bal, Kulwinder Singh Hundal, Councilor Jaswant Rai Kala, Councilor Mukesh Kumar Mall, Harinder Singh Harry, Gurmeet Singh and Pawan Chhauni Kalan, besides the residents of the area, were also present.
