Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 18: Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Anmol Singh Dhaliwal held a meeting with the Executive Officers of Municipal Councils, City Engineers, Sewerage and Water Supply Board, Drainage Officers and Assistant City Planners yesterday.
During the meeting, while reviewing the pending complaints, e-map portal related matters, timely disposal of court cases, sewerage/STP, library, Swachh Bharat Mission, complaints related to promoters/builders, PMAY, ADC Anmol Dhaliwal ordered the officers that every local urban body should work for the convenience of the people of their respective cities.
While reviewing the settlement of pending complaints, he told the Assistant Municipal Engineers that they should ensure immediate settlement of pending complaints and gougsheets related to their respective Municipal Council/Nagar Panchayat and a report in this regard should be sent to this office. Regarding the pendency of e-map portal, all the executive officers present were directed that they should check the pendency of e-map portal day to day and end the pendency of e-map portal immediately and send the report to this office.
While taking stock of the pending court cases, the Additional Deputy Commissioner told the executive officers that the report of court cases going on in Punjab & Haryana High Court should be sent to the district office on time so that there is no difficulty in filing counter claim on time. Sewerage/STP Regarding this, Executive Engineer, Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Ropar was directed to immediately complete the ongoing sewerage works in Nagar Council, Zirakpur and also directed that regarding the ongoing sewerage work in Sanoli, Executive Officer, Nagar Council, Zirakpur and Executive Engineer, Ropar should jointly visit and complete the work as soon as possible.
Instructions were also given to complete the STP work going on in Nagar Council, Navan Village soon. ADC directed that libraries in Nagar Council, Derabassi and Kharar be digitalized. While evaluating Swachh Bharat Mission, Executive Officers were directed to complete the pending works under their respective Nagar Council/Nagar Panchayat in view of checking of teams related to ODF and GFC, so that the ranking of District SAS Nagar can be improved.
Apart from this, in relation to the 'Mera Ward Meri Shaan' campaign, all the executive officers were instructed to get the wards selected by them cleaned and get plantation done in their respective Nagar Councils/Nagar Panchayats and also take action regarding wall painting and night sweeping. The Additional Deputy Commissioner also instructed all the executive officers to prepare a list of complaints pending with the promoters/builders in their respective Nagar Parishads/Panchayats and send it to this office.
So that those pending complaints can be resolved in a timely manner. While reviewing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, instructions were given that the work of geo tagging should be completed immediately by those Nagar Parishads/Nagar Panchayats which have not been completed.
