Agra, April 17 - A Haryana man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a Lithuanian woman tourist at Agra Fort here, police said on Thursday. They said the accused has been identified as Mizan, who hails from Mewat in Haryana. The Lithuanian woman tourist was visiting Agra Fort on Wednesday when Mizan (who was a tourist himself) allegedly touched her in an objectionable manner.
According to officials, after the incident, a complaint was registered at the tourism police station. Assistant Commissioner of Police Syed Areeb Ahmed said, “A case has been registered on the basis of the complaint. After reviewing the CCTV footage and questioning, we arrested Mizan, a tourist from Mewat in Haryana.” The official said that Mizan was produced in the court and further legal action is underway.
