Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner's PA Lal Chand and others along with the employees of DC office paid tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, on his 134th birth anniversary at the Mini Secretariat, Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, litterateur Vikram Adia and other employees were present with him.
He said that along with the creation of the Constitution, Baba Saheb gave excellent leadership in every field for the progress and development of the country, which is cited as an example in every corner of the world. He said that Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar was not only Bharat Ratna, but also a world-renowned personality, who is known all over the world as a great social reformer, savior of women, successful lawyer, eminent politician, great teacher and philosopher.
He said that along with giving the right of equality, freedom and brotherhood to every citizen of the country, he also made provision of fundamental rights for the countrymen in the constitution, due to which the gap of discrimination started ending.
He said that apart from protecting the rights, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar introduced several projects in the country like Reserve Bank of India, Finance Commission, Employment Exchange, etc., which played a big role in the development of the country
