Garhshanker, April 14 - Dr. BR Ambedkar's 134th birthday was celebrated by the residents of village Dansiwal. The event was led by Hon. Sukhdev Dansiwal and Manohar Lal Dansiwal and was led by the village Gurudwara Management Committee.
Addressing the village residents, chief speakers retired principal Jagdish Rai and lecturer Mahesh Kumar said that in the present times there is a dire need to spread the ideology of Dr. BR Ambedkar Sahib, because he got education while facing caste oppression and made life worth living for crores of people of the country.
He said that the role of education is important in human life, through which a person becomes aware of the events happening around him, so efforts should be made to provide maximum education to children.
At this time Rajinder Singh, Ranjit Singh, Joginder Singh, Satpal Singh, Rampal, Desraj, Chaman Singh, Jatinder Kumar, Babu Hansraj Ji, Balveer Singh, Kulwant Singh former Sarpanch, Gurmukh Singh, Gurmel Singh, Satpal Kaler, Hansraj Gadhshanker etc were present.
