Garhshanker- Today Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar's birthday was celebrated with reverence in village Baroana Satnor. On this occasion, Punjab CITU Vice President Mahendra Kumar Baroana, former Sarpanch Vijay Kumar, AIDWA District President Neelam Baroana, Baldev Raj Satnor addressed and said that the Constitution made by Baba Saheb is in danger due to the alliance of communal fascist corporates.
Ever since the Modi government has come, attacks on Dalit minorities have intensified. On the other hand, the rights of laborers and farmers are being robbed. Today every section is fighting for its rights. Modi's government has passed a law of 8 to 12 hours duty. Rs 10,000 crore has been cut in the budget of MNREGA workers, due to which the working days of laborers have reduced.
The leaders said that the central government has sold the goods of its departments to corporate houses at throwaway prices. Inflation and unemployment are increasing continuously. The purchasing power of people has reduced, due to which the industries of the country are getting ruined.
On this occasion, the leaders said that everyone will have to unite to get the minimum wage increased to Rs. 26000, Rs. 700 daily wage, stop the contract system, make scheme workers permanent, cancel the 12-hour duty, cancel the 4 labor codes, leave no stone unturned to make the nationwide strike of May 20 successful, and protect the constitution made by Baba Sahib.
Apart from the above leaders, Kartar Singh Bakshish Kaur, Satpal Baby Harmesh Lal Charandas, Satya Sunita Rani, Shani Vishal Chido, Gyan Chand Bhag Singh also addressed the gathering.
