Punjab government schools equipped with modern facilities - Dr. Ravjot Singh.

Hoshiarpur- Punjab Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh while inaugurating the works completed at a cost of Rs. 1.20 crore in 4 schools of Shamchurasi constituency said that the Punjab Government has created a new educational environment for teachers and students by equipping the government schools of the state with ultra-modern facilities.

Hoshiarpur- Punjab Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh while inaugurating the works completed at a cost of Rs. 1.20 crore in 4 schools of Shamchurasi constituency said that the Punjab Government has created a new educational environment for teachers and students by equipping the government schools of the state with ultra-modern facilities.
Dedicating the works completed at a cost of Rs. 60 lakh in Government Senior Secondary School Ajram, Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, no stone will be left unturned to ensure all-round development and better future of the students of government schools of Punjab.
He said that the present government has given a new look to government schools by working on a large scale in the field of education during the last three years. He said that under the 'Punjab Education Revolution', model classrooms, timely infrastructure are being set up in government schools and necessary facilities are being provided to the students, which are beneficial for teachers and students.
Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh while inaugurating the works completed at a cost of Rs. 11.2 lakh in Government Primary School Ajram, Rs. 38.43 lakh in Government Senior Secondary School Dhadde Fateh Singh and Rs. 10.5 lakh in Government Primary School Hardokhanpur said that during the current financial year, the Punjab Government has allocated 12 per cent of the budget of Rs. 17975 crore for the education sector, which will further boost the development of government schools.
He said that in the coming time, the School of Applied Learning Scheme will equip the students with technical skills for livelihood opportunities. He said that Mission Samarth will help in creating interest in primary and upper primary students according to their ability and in achieving their set goals in future.
The Cabinet Minister inaugurated three new classrooms and laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and Biology at Government Senior Secondary School Dhadde Fateh Singh. Similarly, three science laboratories, school boundary wall and classrooms were inaugurated at Government Senior Secondary School Ajram. A new room was inaugurated at a school in Hardokhanpur.
