SAS Nagar, April 11- All arrangements have been completed for the Virsa Sambhal Gatka Competition 2025, which will be held on the occasion of Khalsa Panth's Sajna Diwas Vaisakhi on April 13 (Sunday) at Gurdwara Sahib Phase 8 Mohali by Gatka Federation of India and Punjab Gatka Association's District SAS Nagar unit, District Gatka Association (Regd.) SAS Nagar.
Giving information in this regard, President of District Gatka Association Mohali Akwinder Singh Gosal and Managing Secretary Jagtar Singh said that in the Virsa Sambhal Gatka competition which will run from 4 pm to 9 pm, 8 top teams from Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh will participate, who will be honored with cash prizes to promote Gatka.
He informed that there will be group performance competitions and individual free Soti competitions for the teams. A procession will be held from Gurdwara Sacha Dhann Sahib Phase 3B to Gurdwara Amb Sahib, Phase 8 Mohali at 3 pm.
All the members present in the meeting assured to perform their duties diligently for the success of the Virsa Sambhal Gatka competition. Among others, General Secretary Davinder Singh Jugni, Vice President Dr. Kuldeep Singh Bakarpur, Finance Secretary Amarjit Singh, Harmanjot Singh Jandpur, Rajbir Singh, Amandeep Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Talwinder Singh Desumajra, Harpreet Singh, Amritpal Singh, Parminder Singh Bhinda Sarpanch and Darshan Singh Darshi were present in the meeting.
