Nawanshahr- Punjab Sahitya Sabha Regd. Nawanshahr organised its monthly meeting under the chairmanship of local president Darshan Dardi. During the meeting, the society decided to organise literary programmes in various schools and colleges to promote Punjabi mother tongue and the society also agreed to organise at least one Kavi Darbar in a month through social media.
The writers were requested to spread awareness messages against pollution and drug abuse to the people through their creations. All the poets and writers present made the atmosphere pleasant by reciting their creations.
On this occasion, Manmohan Singh Gulati Chairman, Darshan Dardi President, Tarsem Saki General Secretary, Dr. Malkit Kaur Jandi, Des Raj Bali, Bahadur Chand Arora, Advocate Jaspreet Bajwa, Veena Sharma, Shaman Malhan etc. were present.
