Industry Leaders Inspire at PEC's Kaushal Tatparta Pre-Placement Training - 2025

Chandigarh: 08th April, 2025: The Career Development and Guidance Centre (CDGC) of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, in association with Hitbullseye as the Title Sponsor, successfully concluded the final two days of the Kaushal Tatparta Pre-Placement Training – 2025, a three-day immersive program aimed at enhancing students’ placement preparedness and professional outlook.

Chandigarh: 08th April, 2025: The Career Development and Guidance Centre (CDGC) of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, in association with Hitbullseye as the Title Sponsor, successfully concluded the final two days of the Kaushal Tatparta Pre-Placement Training – 2025, a three-day immersive program aimed at enhancing students’ placement preparedness and professional outlook.
Held from April 4to 6, at the PEC Auditorium, the concluding days of the event brought together a rich blend of career mentorship, aptitude training, and strategic sessions with some of the most respected voices in the industry. Students gained invaluable exposure to real-world insights as they engaged with professionals like Dr. Sneha (Founder, Dream Career University), who shared actionable guidance on identifying and building fulfilling career paths.  Mr. Rajiv Markanday (Vice President, Hitbullseye), who provided strategic insights into interview dynamics and personal branding, and Dr. Jaspreet Ahluwalia (VP – HR, Finvasia), brought an HR-centric view on what top recruiters look for in fresh graduates. All of these speakers shared compelling perspectives on career clarity, recruitment strategies, and the evolving expectations of the corporate world.
Adding to this momentum, the final day witnessed impactful sessions by Mr. Rajinder Kumar (Career Transition Coach & Tech Recruiter), who discussed industry hiring patterns and career pivoting strategies. Ms. Pooja Nayar (Founder & Principal Consultant – Pratham HR & Legal Solutions),  highlighted key employability traits and communication essentials, and Mr. KJS Khurana (Vice President – Hitbullseye), who spoke on topics ranging from transitioning into the workforce to mastering aptitude and soft skills—key components of modern recruitment. Alongside these expert talks, students across departments actively participated in hands-on modules including group discussion simulations, case study analysis, resume building, and aptitude workshops—carefully curated to develop both competence and confidence.
Dr. J.D. Sharma, Head of CDGC, emphasized the importance of this initiative in bridging the campus-to-corporate gap, and fostering a growth mindset in students as they step into the professional world. With enthusiastic participation, constructive interaction, and expert-led training, the three-day event concluded on a high note, reinforcing PEC’s commitment to nurturing industry-ready professionals and future leaders.
