Hoshiarpur- There is news of a migrant laborer dying in a road accident near village Gandhowal late last evening. According to the information, Thanedar Gurnek Singh said that last evening he came to know that a 32-33 year old migrant laborer had fallen on a motorcycle (PB 09 AJ 8277) on the road near village Gandhowal and was brought to the Civil Hospital Mahilpur where the doctors declared him dead. 
After investigating this, Thanedar Gurnek Singh said that a person from the Gujjar community, Firozdin son of Nekdin, living on the outskirts of the village, told the police in a statement that his name is probably Ajay alias Chotu, his address is unknown. He came to work with us five-six months ago and after working for four to five days, he went somewhere else. 
After this, he came back once or twice and left. He said that no information could be found regarding the accident, which is being investigated. Police Station Officer Gurnek said that the body will be kept at Garhshankar for identification in two to three days.
