Hoshiarpur- Under the campaign launched by Mr. Sandeep Kumar Malik IPS Police District Head Hoshiarpur against drugs and anti-social elements, under the supervision of Major Singh Superintendent of Police PBI Hoshiarpur, Narinder Singh PPS Deputy Superintendent of Police Rural Hoshiarpur, in the area of ????sub-division rural Hoshiarpur, the police of Police Station Sadar Haryana took action against the anti-social elements involved in robbery and supply of drugs and arrested the accused who were supplying drugs and narcotics.
On 01-04-2025, SI Daljit Singh along with the police party arrested Sadiq Mohammad alias Anda son of Taj Mohammad resident of village Sator police station Haryana district Hoshiarpur and Paramveer Singh son of Iqbal Singh resident of village Milap Nagar police station Model Town police station Hoshiarpur on Activa at village Dallewal turn and recovered 56 grams of narcotics from them.
Case number 43 dated 01-04-25 section 22-61-85 NDPS Act Haryana district Hoshiarpur was registered against them. After interrogation, accused Mukesh Kumar alias Chandu son Ramesh Chandra resident of street number 03 Shankar Nagar police station Model Town police station Hoshiarpur was arrested on 02-04-2025.
During interrogation, the accused told that they are drug addicts and supply drugs and commit robbery to fulfill their drug needs. Sadiq Mohammad alias Anda and Paramveer Singh admitted that they, along with Sarabjit Singh alias Sathi resident Kantia, had looted a person riding an Activa on 28-03-2025 on the road from Simran Dhaba to Swetri Plywood Factory and on 25-03-2025 in village Kulia Nahit by showing a pistol. On which case number 45/25A/S 309(4) BNS police station Haryana district Hoshiarpur was registered.
During the investigation, Sadiq Mohammad alias Anda son of Taj Mohammad resident of Satore police station Haryana district Hoshiarpur, Paramveer Singh son of Iqbal Singh resident of Milap Nagar police station Model Town Hoshiarpur and Sarabjit Singh resident of Kantia police station Haryana district Hoshiarpur were arrested and a fake pistol, a revolver and a black coloured Splendor motorcycle used in the crime were recovered from them.
Similarly, yesterday, in the area of ??police station Bullowal, Sunil Kumar alias Sunil son of Satnam Singh resident of village Talwandi Araiya, police station Bullowal, district Hoshiarpur, Rajinder Singh alias Jindu son of Subeg Singh, Jashandeep Singh alias Dhakad son of Manjit Singh resident of Dera Baba Nanak, district Batala were arrested by the police party along with ASI Kulwinder Singh on 17-03-2025 from Gurdwara Wali Gali in village Dhamia Kalan on the information of an informer. 40 grams of narcotics from Rajinder Singh alias Jindu and 35 grams of narcotics from Jashandeep Singh alias Dhakad, totaling 75 grams of narcotics and one computer were recovered.
Case No. 33 dated 17-03-2025 under sections 22-61-85 of NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Bullowal and the case was enlarged to include offences under section 29 of NDPS Act, section 25 of Arms Act and section 111 of BNS. 3 Italy made Pistols .30 bore and magazines were recovered from the accused.
