Hoshiarpur- With the blessings of Baba Hira Singh Ji Khalsa Ji, 4th Doaba Gatka Competition dedicated to Khalsa Saajna Diwas was organized at Gurdwara Sant Ajit Singh Ji Alawalaisa Alampur. Various teams of Hoshiarpur district participated in these competitions and performed brilliantly. In these competitions, Rajveer Singh got first place in Single Stick Under-14, Manmeet Singh got second place and Manjodh Singh got third place.
Jagjot Singh got first place and Bhavjeet Singh got second place in Free Stick Under-14. Jagjot Singh got first place, Tejasvir Singh got second place and Sant Singh got third place in Khanda Exhibition. Balraj Singh got first place, Ranveer Singh got second place and Gaganpreet Singh got third place in Under-17 Kirpan Fry.
Navjot Singh got first place, Amrit Singh got second place and Harmandeep Singh got third place in Khanda Fry. The prizes were distributed to the players by Mandeep Singh ji who came from Canada. On this occasion, District President of Gatka Association Vijay Pratap Singh said that such Gatka competitions are proving effective in saving children from drug addiction.
