Delhi Club showed a great performance in the I-League match but the victory went to Real Kashmir.

Mahilpur- In the 11 matches of the I-League organized here in the 2024-25 season by the CEO of Minerva Club Ranjit Bajaj, the Coach Ali Hassan Stadium of Mahilpur was made its home ground. In today's match, Delhi Football Club won the hearts of the audience by performing its best performance till date. Despite the excellent play and goal scoring opportunities given to Delhi Club, Real Kashmir Football Club was successful in winning this match by a margin of two to one.

In the exciting match played here, the players of Delhi FC showed their mettle thanks to their technical and excellent play. But as soon as the match started, Real Kashmir player M Inam scored the first goal. In the 26th minute of the first half, Real Kashmir's G Karijo succeeded in scoring the second goal. Delhi FC got 12 corners but could not convert any of them into goals. The penalty given in the 53rd minute of the match was converted into a goal by H Jain of Delhi Football Club.
While attending as the chief guest, Director of Sports Department Punjab Harpreet Singh Sudan IAS assured of providing all kinds of support in the development of sports in the area. He congratulated the organizers and football lovers of Mahilpur and said that their love for football has brought Mahilpur to the first place in India in terms of spectators. The presidium included Principal Harbhajan Singh Sporting Club President Kulwant Singh Sangha, SP Shivinderjit Singh Bains, Prin. Parvinder Singh, Dr. Parampreet Candowal, Master Baninder Singh, Roshanjit Singh Panam, Tarlochan Singh Sandhu, Kundan Singh Sajjan, Aman Khatkar CEO Prime Asia TV, Zoya Siddiqui DDF, Preet Kohli Assistant Director, Gurpreet Singh Bajwa District Sports Officer, Daljit Singh Sahota UK Convener Indian Overseas Congress, Amrit Sharma Director Spartan, Aditya Maidan PA Cabinet Minister and Madam Heena Bajaj were present.
While conducting the stage, sports writer Baljinder Mann specially thanked Ranjit Bajaj and Madam Heena Bajaj on behalf of the area for their great efforts to raise the level of football in Mahilpur by organizing the I-League in Mahilpur. The love of football of Mahilpurians has set a record with the highest number of spectators in all of India.
On this occasion, the I-League organizers and Principal Harbhajan Singh Sporting Club Mahilpur honored the eminent footballer Harmanjot Singh Khabra, Vijay Kumar Nangal players, Mukhtiar Singh UK along with the Director Sports and guests by presenting mufflers, T-shirts, mementos and the book 'Mahilpur da Khel Sansar' written by Baljinder Mann.
Among the football lovers, players and promoters from near and far who arrived on this occasion were Harnandan Singh Khabra, Principal Sukhinder Singh Minhas, Coach Jagdish Singh, Chanchal Singh Bains, B. S. Bagla, Professor Sarwan Singh, Coach Asim Hassan, Dr. Raj Kumar, Tarsem Bha, Shiraj Hassan, Ram Tirath Parmar, Sandeep Singh Sona Posi, Vaneet, Jamsher Singh Tambar along with students in large numbers.
