Chandigarh, May 31 - A stir has been created in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri district after around 130 obscene videos of a youth went viral on social media. It is being said that the said youth is the son of a mandal president of the BJP Mahila Morcha. On the other hand, the opposition has started a sharp verbal attack on the BJP over this matter, while the concerned BJP woman leader has maintained complete silence.
The said youth is the son of the younger brother of a famous Mishthan Bhandar owner there and is married. His wife has filed a complaint with the police that her husband is having an illicit relationship with another woman and he records obscene videos with her. Later, he shows this video to his wife and tortures her psychologically and emotionally.
The victim has alleged in a video that her husband openly says, "You can't do anything to me, my mother is a big BJP leader." The victim has also accused her mother-in-law and sister-in-law of harassing her. It is being said that earlier too the young man had burnt his wife with a cigarette, due to which the police were called, but the matter was hushed up due to political influence.
The viral videos have been made in various hotels and restaurants of the city. This matter has caused a huge blow to the BJP Mahila Morcha. As of now, there has been no official statement from the BJP in this regard. Meanwhile, the local administration has started an investigation into the matter, but no arrest has been confirmed so far.
Samajwadi Party leader and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has taken a dig at the BJP in this matter. He wrote on his X account, “In the series of revelations of the misdeeds of BJP leaders and their family members, the grand exposé of ‘130 videos’ from Mainpuri seems to be competing with the infamous Karnataka incident of BJP members.” 
He said that this revelation has come from the house of BJP members of Mainpuri, so the blame for it cannot be put on the opposition side of the BJP’s IT cell.” Akhilesh wrote, “If this continues, women will start walking away from the shadow of BJP members and silence will descend on the women’s wing of BJP. Women, caring for their dignity, will stay away from BJP and their families will also keep them away from BJP members.” 
He further wrote, “Now the public has understood that when BJP calls itself a ‘party with a difference’, in what respect it is ‘different’. "The BJP has no competition in this area and neither should anyone compete with the BJP people in this matter."
