Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain greeted the residents of the district on Holi and called upon them to celebrate Holi together with organic colours.
The Deputy Commissioner also appealed to the devotees going to Sri Anandpur Sahib for Hola Mohalla and Meri Mela to travel safely and said that the speed of two-wheelers should be controlled and only the required number of devotees should be carried in big vehicles.
Regarding Holi, he appealed that Holi should be celebrated with organic and raw colours while completely avoiding chemical colours during the festival. He said that priority should be given to celebrating Holi in a safe manner and no hooliganism should be done.
