
Officers given training on I-RAD and e-DAR portal
Hoshiarpur- As per the directions of Additional Chief Secretary Transport Department Punjab and Deputy Commissioner, necessary training was given to the officers of Police Department, Transport Department, Traffic Police, Health Department, Public Works Department (B&R), National Highway Authority and Punjab Mandi Board about I-RAD and e-DAR portal in NIC Conference Room of District Administrative Complex Hoshiarpur today.
Hoshiarpur- As per the directions of Additional Chief Secretary Transport Department Punjab and Deputy Commissioner, necessary training was given to the officers of Police Department, Transport Department, Traffic Police, Health Department, Public Works Department (B&R), National Highway Authority and Punjab Mandi Board about I-RAD and e-DAR portal in NIC Conference Room of District Administrative Complex Hoshiarpur today.
Regional Transport Officer RS ??Gill informed that the Police Department will use the I-RAD app to upload details of road accidents in the district, location, number of dead/injured and status of FIRs registered.
The Public Works Department will inspect the accident affected roads and share information about repairs and the Transport Department will provide an online report about the technical inspection of accident affected vehicles and driver's license. The Health Department will upload information about the condition and treatment of the injured and in case of death, post-mortem report will also be added.
Once the FIR is lodged regarding the accident, all the information for compensation in MA City or hit and run cases will reach the concerned officer. Officers of the concerned departments were present on the occasion.
