
Khalsa College Mahilpur's Computer Department celebrated technical festival Giga Grid with enthusiasm
Mahilpur, March 7- The Post Graduate Computer Department of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur organized a technical festival 'Giga Grid 2025'. Students of the Computer Department as well as students of the area's colleges SD College Hoshiarpur, Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes Chagran, SHSM College for Women Chela Makhsoospur participated enthusiastically in this festival.
Mahilpur, March 7- The Post Graduate Computer Department of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur organized a technical festival 'Giga Grid 2025'. Students of the Computer Department as well as students of the area's colleges SD College Hoshiarpur, Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes Chagran, SHSM College for Women Chela Makhsoospur participated enthusiastically in this festival.
On this occasion, Sukhwinder Singh Inspector Food and Civil Supply, School Teacher Madam Mamta, Engineer Tarlochan Singh and PNB Senior Manager Hardil Preet Singh attended as chief guests. College Principal Dr. Parwinder Singh welcomed the guests and students and said that in today's era of information and communication technology, participating in such technical festivals leads to all-round development of the personality of the students.
On this occasion, students participated enthusiastically in various activities organized in the festival like Tech Talk, Logic Whirlpool, Net Sevai, Web Portal Development, Logo Designing, Edmed Show and won various prizes. In these categories, students of Khalsa College Mahilpur won the overall trophy by winning the most prizes, while Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes came second and SHSM College Chela Makhsoospur came third.
The guests present on the occasion distributed prizes to the winning students. Computer Department Head Professor Gurpreet Kaur shared the vote of thanks and gave information about the activities of the department. On this occasion, Sikh Educational Council officials Virinder Sharma, Computer Department teachers Manpreet Singh, Varinder Singh, Deepti Verma, Harminder Kaur, Neha, Nandika, Gurjot Kaur, Akashdeep Kaur, Navjot Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Shweta and Technical Assistant Sarabjit Singh were also present.
